Lukashenko signs laws on trade with UAE
President Alexander Lukashenko signed several laws aimed at developing trade and economic relations with a number of countries.
The head of state signed a law ratifying the Agreement on Economic Partnership between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The international treaty simplifies mutual trade and promotes cooperation between the EAEU and the UAE, creating additional competitive advantages for EAEU products and opening opportunities for expanding export supplies.
In addition, the president signed a law providing for the ratification of a provisional trade agreement between the EAEU and Mongolia, also aimed at facilitating mutual trade.
As part of expanding international cooperation, a Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of Belarus and Nigeria on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters has been ratified. The document establishes the main principles and forms of cooperation, procedures for providing mutual assistance and interaction between customs authorities to prevent and investigate customs violations.
Lukashenko signed laws on ratifying trade agreements with the UAE, Mongolia, and Nigeria, expanding Belarus's economic ties.
