Conducting the ceremony of awarding the revived prize "For Spiritual Revival", head of state Alexander Lukashenko emphasized the importance of traditions and cultural memory in shaping Belarus. In the president's opinion, long included in the national heritage, the government of Belarusian culture was built on a centuries-old legacy enriched with the spirituality and intellect of ancestors. In his words, this ensures that Belarusians have become a self-sufficient nation that has entered world history. "Traditions are the foundation of our statehood. In them lies our strength and our future, which is impossible without experience and intergenerational connections," he noted.
