Lukashenko: Fugitives sent to Ukraine

TASS reported that some of the individuals pardoned by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko were sent to Ukraine in exchange for the release of Russian and Belarusian prisoners. Presidential spokesperson Natalia Eismont said, "The American side took nine foreign citizens with them today, and more than 100 people were sent to Ukraine—in exchange for Belarusians captured there. Their relatives, as well as injured Russians, had strongly appealed to the president for their release."
