Lukashenko: security above disputes
The head of state said security and order are more important than loud disputes
Alexander Lukashenko emphasized during the Second Session of the Seventh All-Belarusian People's Assembly that agents and extremists would no longer operate in the political sphere. He stated that protecting Belarus's interests comes first, and taking 'tough' decisions will inevitably change the lives of some citizens, as has already happened with those deported to Lithuania and Poland.
The president noted that security and order are more important than loud disputes, and added that if he makes a mistake somewhere—elections will soon take place, 'this is the essence of democracy.' He also urged citizens to carry out their duties calmly and professionally, emphasizing that this reflects credit on the country's leadership.
The emphasized slogan: 'Security above disputes' implies a focus on stabilizing the political situation and preventing extremist and agent activities within the country.
Lukashenko emphasized the priority of security and order in the political process, refusing to allow agents and extremists to participate.
