The president heard a report on the second phase of the military units inspection
On February 18, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko heard a report from State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich on the progress of the Armed Forces' combat readiness inspection ordered by the head of state. The inspection took into account the completion of the second phase, including verification of combat readiness of the majority of military units, including special operations forces, as well as control exercises on fire and physical training. During the inspection, units of the Interior Ministry's internal troops acted as a conditional adversary. The president received a preliminary assessment of the actions of military personnel from the Armed Forces and Internal Troops and how they coped with assigned tasks.
