Lukashenko awards senior officer

During a ceremonial event in Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko awarded shoulder boards to major generals and senior officers. He said the awards would 'serve as a good incentive for further work.' Among the recipients were Andrei Kravchenko, Mikhail Matrosov, Andrei Filatov, Viktor Legan (major general of justice), and Andrei Sambuk (major general of financial police). The president noted that all the officers were ready to 'without hesitation do everything possible to defend Belarus.' The event was part of the traditional annual awards for the top military leadership.
