Lukashenko on sudden military inspection
Explained the absence of the Ministry of Defense's involvement
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko explained why the sudden Armed Forces readiness inspection was conducted bypassing the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense. According to him, the operation's goal was to test the troops' rapid response without involvement of external bodies. Lukashenko emphasized that such inspection methods help improve military responsiveness and confidence in their own capabilities. The Defense Minister stated that participation in such events will be clarified in the near future.
