Lukashenko: education is key to modernization

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko noted during a meeting on the creation of an educational center that the education and science system is at "a special stage of development". He emphasized that modernizing the economy on an innovative basis is one of the country's key tasks. According to the president, future education must meet the requirements of modern professions, and innovation centers contribute to the development of new technologies. The president once again confirmed the priority attention to reforms in the field of education and science.
