Lukashenko discussed trade with USA
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, while inspecting the stand of the Minsk Motor Plant featuring an engine, admitted that he had recently received a request from the White House. According to the head of state, Belarus is ready to purchase potash fertilizers and other goods from the United States, and in return, proposes to consider more favorable terms. The discussion mentioned "potential reserves" of goods that Belarus could import, including engines. Lukashenko expressed readiness to hold negotiations and suggested that a representative from the Minsk Motor Plant should deal with the Americans.
