Lukashenko rejects personnel proposals
President denied the transfer of ministers and head of agro-combine
After holding a "man-to-man talk," the country's president, Alexander Lukashenko, rejected several proposals regarding personnel changes addressed to the Minister of Agriculture and Food Yuriy Gorlov, the CEO of the Dzerzhinsky Agro-Complex Vladimir Lukyanov, and the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev.
According to the president's press secretary Natalya Eismont, all those invited during the conversation with Pavi stated that their work in current positions appears effective. The president assessed their current performance and decided to keep them in their positions.
This decision confirmed that the main purpose of the meeting was to discuss current tasks, rather than personnel advancement.
President Lukashenko rejected the proposed candidates for staff promotion, leaving the ministers and the agro-combine head in their positions.
