Lukashenko notes snow and frost in Belarus
President Alexander Lukashenko, during a meeting with parishioners in Belarus, noted that he had brought the snow and frost he desired. He praised the patience of those waiting and emphasized that, for him, true winter has finally arrived, even though it differs from his childhood memories.
"Good job, people, especially the Gomel region, where snow exceeded knee level," the head of state declared. He stressed that the recent snowfall served as confirmation of shared concerns about climate.
"I, gentlemen, asked for a snowy winter with plenty of snow, and it happened. I think everything worked out; may everything remain in order," he added, appealing to parishioners to lead genuine lives.
Thus, the president expressed satisfaction with the weather and pride over the arrival of winter in the country.
