Lukashenko praises Belarusian doctors
Doctors who participated in treating the wounded during prisoner exchanges
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko praised the high professional training of Belarusian military medics who assisted wounded individuals during prisoner exchanges between Russia and Ukraine. He said: "When these exchanges began, especially we sent personnel to the south of the country—to district hospitals and Gomel hospital. At that time, I demanded from the Minister of Health that our doctors see more of what is happening." Lukashenko emphasized that Belarusian doctors demonstrated their skills well in treating the most difficult patients.
Context
Prisoner exchanges have been ongoing since the beginning of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, under which wounded individuals and those involved in hostilities receive medical care in reception hospitals in various countries.
Lukashenko praised the work of Belarusian military doctors for treating the wounded exchanged between Russia and Ukraine.
