Lukashenko proposed Kushnarenko to VNS Presidium
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has proposed Alexei Kushnarenko as a candidate for membership in the Presidium of the Supreme Council. The vacancy arose due to the appointment of Konstantin Burak as Assistant to the President and inspector for the Grodno Region, which led to him losing his status as a delegate of the Supreme Council and as a member of the Presidium. According to the announced candidacy, Kushnarenko will be included in the composition of the highest legislative body.
Context
The vacancy in the Presidium emerged after Konstantin Burak was appointed Assistant to the President and, as a consequence, lost his status as a delegate of the Supreme Council.
Lukashenko has appointed Alexei Kushnarenko a member of the Presidium of the VNS.
