Lukashenko urges investment in agriculture
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, during a meeting with the director of the Dzerzhinsky agricultural complex, Vladimir Lukyanov, gave recommendations on the development of the agro-industrial complex. He noted that it is important to have a financial reserve, but instead of simply hoarding money, it is better to invest it in the agricultural sector.
"It is better to invest in business, in land, in enterprises, collective farms, state farms. Because feed and grain necessary for poultry and pigs come from there. Money should not be kept as a dead weight, even in bank accounts," Lukashenko said.
It was emphasized that not only state enterprises but also private companies are turning to the government for support. At the same time, it is important "to approach acquisitions very cautiously" and to clearly outline investment placement plans.
Lukashenko advises investing in agriculture and land instead of accumulating money, emphasizing the importance of supporting both state and private enterprises.
