Lukashenko extends EV benefits
New rules for charging stations have been approved
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has extended the main benefits and preferences related to electric vehicles and charging stations. The news highlights the government's readiness to support the development of the electric vehicle market in the country. According to the proposal, users and companies participating in the incentive program will continue to receive financial and tax support, as well as reductions in licensing for charging infrastructure.
As part of state initiatives to transition to more environmentally friendly modes of transport, Belarus intends to expand its network of charging stations and reduce costs for motorists. The extension of benefits is seen as a step towards stimulating demand for electric vehicles and developing the industry.
