Lukashenko: military check before spring
The head of state said military exercises will continue under intensified conditions until spring.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko commented in an interview on the upcoming inspection of the country's armed forces. He noted that the exercises will be held in "these serious conditions" and will last until spring. According to him, the purpose of the training activities is to maintain combat readiness of the troops and confirm their operational capability. State sources confirmed that a series of exercises is planned for all branches of military service, including ground forces, aviation, and the navy, as part of the national defense enhancement program.
