Lukashenko: sorts appeals on social media

President comments on handling citizens' requests through online channels

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko explained how he responds to messages addressed to him via social media. He noted that "I sort through all these appeals addressed to me and don't even assign tasks on all of them, but I do analyze them."

Lukashenko emphasized that when mentions appear about problems in kindergartens, healthcare, or clinic waiting lines, he "checks whether they really exist," and said "this brings benefit."

"This doesn't mean that someone will work on behalf of someone else. Our Belarusians are a bit spoiled, and I am to blame for that," the country's leader added.
