The "Oreshnik" missile system and cooperation with the Russian Federation were discussed
On the morning of December 24, the President of Belarus listened to a report from Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin on the state of affairs in the Armed Forces. Among the topics discussed were the deployment of the 'Oreshnik' missile system in the country and its transition to combat duty, as well as the development of military and military-technical cooperation with the Russian Federation.
The report included details about recent tests of the modernized domestic 'Polonez-M' missile system with increased range and improved accuracy. The minister reported that during the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly, Alexander Lukashenko announced plans for further improvement of the 'Polonez'. Plans for modernizing the 'Buk' air defense system and delivering the systems to the troops were also discussed.
