Start of the workweek in Belarus
On Monday, at the main office of the Belarusian state television, President Alexander Lukashenko began his working week by presenting state awards to heroes honored on this holiday. The ceremony was attended by war veterans, military personnel, and civilians who received medals and trophies for their service, bravery, and merits to the Motherland. The President noted that the awarding is a traditional way of recognizing people's contributions to the country's defense and emphasized the importance of charity and patriotism.
