Lukashenko awarded 203 women with Mother Order

On February 20, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree awarding the Order of Mother for giving birth to and raising five or more children. A total of 203 women residing in various regions of the country and in Minsk were among the recipients. Among the awardees were representatives of industry, agriculture, forestry, transportation, energy, banking and insurance, education, healthcare, culture, religious organizations, as well as individual entrepreneurs and homemakers. Specific examples include engineer A. Marchuk from OJSC Ivatsevichdrev, carrier Marina Senkovec from Belarusian Railway, insurance agent Maya Yurchenko from Belgosstrakh, nurse Anastasiya Rutkovskaya from Sharkovshchina Central Hospital, teacher Natalya Stukal from Kindergarten No. 17 in Svetlogorsk, driver Diana Stoma from OJSC Mostovdrev, deputy director Yuliya Mescherina from Lyuban School, livestock worker Aleksia Leshankova from OJSC Avangard-Niva, and specialist Angelika Klimovich from ASB Belarusbank. All recipients were awarded the Order for outstanding work in raising future generations.
