Lukashenko hears military drill report

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko listened to a report by Oleg Volfovich on the progress of the large-scale surprise check of the Armed Forces' combat readiness. The report details the specifics and interim results of the inspection, as well as the current status of personnel, equipment, and logistical support. Lukashenko showed interest in the living conditions and accommodation of soldiers under difficult weather conditions, as well as in the availability of necessary uniforms. The head of state emphasized the importance of applying the experience of modern military conflicts in the context of Belarus's forested and swampy terrain. The president set tasks that must be completed before the current year's spring, and following the inspection, plans to conduct a detailed analysis to eliminate possible shortcomings and adjust efforts to improve the armed forces and personnel training.
