MCHS warns of increasing frost

The country's meteorological services report that frosts are intensifying, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds of the basic safety rules. Outdoors: watch your step, as ice is dangerous; walk slowly and wear non-slip footwear. Indoors: do not overload sockets, use only functional electrical appliances and factory-made heaters. When using stoves and boilers: avoid overheating, do not ignite with gasoline or other liquids, finish heating two hours before bedtime. Smoking in bed is prohibited. On the ice: go out only if the ice thickness is 7–10 cm, avoid large crowds, keep children supervised; fishermen must wear life jackets. Take care of yourself and your loved ones so that cold brings only the beauty of nature.
