Belarus MFA to represent country in Washington

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus will represent the country in Washington at the first meeting of the leaders of the World Council. According to the presidential spokesperson Natalia Eismont, "the Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is fully immersed in the issues concerning the Republic of Belarus's participation in the World Council and other matters of regional situation and bilateral Belarusian-American relations, will represent our country in Washington. The American side has already been informed of this decision." Eismont emphasized that the Belarusian diplomat will focus on both current regional security issues and strengthening relations between Belarus and the United States.
