Minister announced road measures

The Minister of Internal Affairs of the state, Ivan Kubrakov, held a video conference meeting on the road situation in adverse weather conditions. Regional leaders reported on the current situation: traffic police and involved units have been transferred to enhanced duty mode, a republican operational headquarters has been established at the MVD's State Traffic Inspectorate, and similar centers are operating in regions with the participation of public security police and internal troops. All special equipment is being transferred to the traffic police after inspection, and internal troops are increasing road patrols with heavy machinery – all-terrain vehicles, armored personnel carriers, 'Volat', 'Tiger' – to assist utility workers and citizens. The minister emphasized the need to assist pensioners and veterans in snow removal using staff and military personnel. Some road sections, including republican roads, will be temporarily closed for clearing to avoid 'snow entrapment' of vehicle convoys. Coordination with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and automotive enterprises has been established to attract additional equipment.
