Defense Minister on Readiness Check

Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin discussed what effect the sudden readiness inspection would have on the country's Armed Forces. In his speech, he emphasized that the purpose of such inspections is to keep troops 'constantly on edge,' with military personnel being mentally and physically prepared, as well as professionally trained.

Khrenin noted that in the event of an armed conflict, the enemy relies on surprise and attempts to dictate the terms. 'We must not be stunned, confused, and scattered. We must immediately respond with resistance,' the minister stated.
