Ministry of Defense prepares for drills in new
Minister Khrenin spoke about the team's tasks
Defense Minister of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Khrenin personally inspected the mechanized brigade of the Western Operational Command and handed the commander an order to bring several units and subdivisions to readiness.
Soldiers must prepare equipment and weapons for deployment to new areas to conduct combat training exercises within a short period.
"It's one thing when we plan it — this is an important stage in management activities, but we can only verify the feasibility of plans when we actually start acting in practice. We immediately see problematic issues and shortcomings that arise. Naturally, we then respond, incorporate them into our subsequent plans, and recheck them," stated Viktor Khrenin.
The ministry also assigns tasks to counter sabotage groups and drones, as well as to operate with electronic warfare systems. Troops will have to operate in conditions closely resembling modern combat realities.
