Minsk schools operate but canceled

In the Minsk district, educational institutions continue to operate according to their regular staffing schedules. However, due to severe frost, all outdoor activities are canceled. Parents may leave their children at home by notifying the kindergarten caregiver or homeroom teacher in advance; no additional documents need to be submitted to the educational institution. At the same time, maximally safe conditions must be ensured for a child staying at home.

Additionally, in 15 districts of the Gomel region, transportation of students from rural settlements to schools has been canceled. In Gomel itself, it is reported that no decision has been made to cancel classes.
