Ministry of Health boosts medical service readiness

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus announced that from January 31 to February 3, inpatient and emergency medical services have been switched to an enhanced readiness mode for emergency situations. The decision was made due to adverse weather conditions, according to the ministry's official statement. During this period, medical facilities will intensify their preparations for possible emergencies, including potential traffic disruptions, earthquakes, floods, and other weather-related disasters. Officials at the Ministry of Health clarified that the measures are aimed at ensuring the continuity of medical services and timely response to the population's emerging needs.
