Ministry prepares for 7th All-Belarusian Assembly
Enhanced security measures have been announced for guests
In the capital of Belarus, on the eve of the VII All-Belarusian People's Assembly, Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov held a briefing for the city's police force. The minister noted: "In the coming days, the city will host many guests, including foreign ones. Public order must be fully ensured. To continuously monitor the situation and control infrastructure facilities, the capabilities of the republican public safety monitoring system will be actively used, along with bomb disposal units, anti-UAV groups, and internet monitoring teams. The traffic police officers' task is to ensure the safe movement of delegates and monitor traffic conditions." Minsk City Executive Committee's GUVB chief Mikhail Grib reported: "Comprehensive measures have been taken to ensure security, prevent violations, crimes, and emergencies. All facilities related to the People's Assembly will be placed under round-the-clock protection. In accordance with the Minister of Internal Affairs' order, personnel will switch to an enhanced duty regime."
