Igor Sergeenko familiarized himself with patients' stay conditions

Speaker of the House of Representatives, authorized representative of the Head of State in the Vitebsk region Igor Sergeenko today, together with regional and local authorities, inspected the new building of the central district hospital in the town of Postavy. This modern facility, long awaited by residents and medical professionals, has recently become operational.

From the very beginning, the construction of the building was under close supervision of Sergeenko, who in August criticized the slow pace of construction. After his remarks, work resumed at an accelerated pace, leading to the project's completion on schedule. The new building provides improved patient accommodation, modernized diagnostic and treatment areas, and enhanced safety standards.

Sergeenko emphasized that along with the opening, it is important to ensure comfort and safety, as well as conduct additional staff training. The Republic of Belarus continues to invest in healthcare development so that people in regional areas can access high-quality medical services.

Context

Postavy is a town in the Vitebsk region where there were previously issues with the pace of construction of the new hospital building, but after the intervention of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the project was completed on time.
