The agenda of the Head of State included a discussion of the draft decree on improving scientific activities. The joint meeting held at the end of November was attended by the Head of the Presidential Administration, the Chairman of the State Control Committee, Vice-Premier Viktor Karankevich, as well as the Ministers of Education and Finance. It was decided to prepare a document that, as stated, will provide a significant boost to the development of the entire scientific sector. Currently, specialists are thoroughly analyzing all proposals to form a final decision. The 'pay for results' mechanism emphasizes the commitment to the effectiveness of scientific investments.
