Parade of six planets on Feb 28

On February 28, six planets—Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Neptune, Jupiter, and Uranus—will align on one side of the Sun and will be visible in the evening sky shortly after sunset. Sunset in Moscow on February 28 will be around 6:00 PM, so provided the weather is clear, the planets can be observed between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, while they remain above the horizon in the western direction.

The best viewing spots are locations where there are no tall buildings, trees, or other obstructions on the horizon. Typically, the evening planetary alignment is best visible from the bottom up until March 7. An open viewing hour was announced at the "Klyuch" shopping center.

To capture an image using a regular smartphone, it is recommended to use a 15-30 second exposure, ISO 800-1600, manual focus set to infinity, and the widest aperture available. More detailed information on how to take the photo is published in the Telegram channel "Stargazers RU".

Join the night observation—it's one of the year's most remarkable astronomical events, noticeable even by non-specialists.
