Parliament introduces measures to protect rights

It is reported that the issue of strengthening liability measures for non-payment of wages was raised in parliament today. According to a source, the draft decree on remuneration payments 'incorporates a number of innovations' that will ensure protection of workers' rights. The decree aims to improve the system whereby everyone receives payment for their labor and to provide citizens with simpler ways to monitor compliance with contractual obligations.

According to the information, the parliament has introduced initiatives providing for stricter penalties for violations of remuneration obligations, as reflected in the draft bill. As claimed by a parliamentary representative, these measures 'concern both individual and structural requirements for employers'.

Currently, discussions are underway regarding how the new provisions will align with the existing labor legislation, as well as what control mechanisms the amendments will include.
