5-year plan: 1/4 housing area – rental
The state program provides for 5 million rental square meters by 2030.
Within the new five-year plan covering housing policy, about a quarter of the total area of civilian housing is expected to be allocated for rent. According to official plans, around 5 million rental square meters will be built by 2030. These units will be provided, among others, to specialists in the most in-demand professions, especially in small settlements.
The program's priority has received high-level approval as an effective mechanism for retaining personnel. As an example, the process of obtaining a rental apartment in the capital is examined. Context
Under the government services program, this initiative provides for expanding the share of rental housing in the city.
The new five-year plan provides for about 25% of housing space to be rented, with a target of 5 million square meters by 2030. This will help ensure staffing and development of less privileged settlements.
