Supporting talents: Lukashenko's new decision
The budget will allocate 200 billion rubles for grants
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree establishing the decision of the President's special fund to support talented youth. Over 200 billion rubles will be allocated from the republican budget, using funds from the reserve fund, for grants. Among the grant recipients are two winners of international music competitions, Amalia Sukhan and Valeria Bernatovich, who represented Belarus at the 'Slavyanski Bazar' vocal competitions in Vitebsk. Additionally, special prizes were awarded to 25 winners of international and republican artistic and creative competitions. Among the awardees are the dance ensemble of the Department of Choreography at the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts under the direction of Svetlana Gutkovskaya, as well as the folk choreographic ensemble 'Suzor'ye'. The implementation of the decree aims to identify and support talented youth, creating favorable conditions for further development of their abilities.
