12-year-old girl died from electric shock

A 12-year-old schoolgirl died in the bathroom in Yelsk, according to investigators. It was confirmed that the girl was taking a bath with a phone in her hands. When the phone was running low on battery, she connected it to a charger and plugged it into the bathroom outlet. The mother entered the bathroom, found her daughter without signs of life, and immediately called an ambulance. Medical personnel performed intensive resuscitation measures, but soon declared the child dead. Preliminary reports indicate death by electric shock. A forensic medical examination is currently underway to determine the exact cause.
