President: Belarus is preparing ammunition

The President of Belarus announced that the country plans to produce its own ammunition in the near future, including grenades for grenade launchers. He said, "Next year, even by the end of this year, we must have our own ammunition. Standard-issue ammunition." He emphasized that possessing domestic ammunition ensures strategic independence: "Grenade launchers will have their place in any battle, especially for us, given the conditions we have, the natural conditions. Therefore, we must have our own grenade launcher rounds." The President noted that modern ammunition is easy to store and can be produced in the necessary quantities and stockpiled. He also called for adherence to deadlines and warned that "the success of the project depends on timely implementation."
