Belarus president hears MVD report

The President of Belarus listened to a report from the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivan Kubrakov. The report covered issues of the current security situation during the holiday period, maintaining order at mass events, and the specifics of crimes during this time. The President reported that checks have begun on the readiness of internal troops and certain units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and that the Ministry is also assisting in clearing snow from territories in regions and in Minsk due to difficult weather conditions. All activities are planned and carried out in accordance with assignments issued by the head of state.
