President appointed committee leaders
New leaders of central and republican bodies announced
By January 1, 2024, the President of the Republic of Belarus signed decrees appointing heads of key state bodies. Decree No. 35-U dated December 30, 2023, addressed the vice-chairmanship and leadership of the State Control Committee, and A. I. Iglikov was also appointed head of a regional division in the Grodno Region, A. D. Dorozhko – chairman in the Minsk Region.
In addition, the president approved personnel decisions regarding diplomatic missions: D. A. Krasovsky was appointed as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the UAE and Tanzania.
Among the newly appointed heads of republican bodies are A. A. Zubovich as Deputy Minister of Economy, E. V. Zencheko – First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology.
Within the structure of interstate bodies, appointments were made: Kalenik V. S. – Director of the Department of Organizational Affairs of the CIS Executive Committee, Belchik I. I. – Head of the Department of Economics and Sectoral Programs of the Permanent Committee of the Union State, Chernolevsky A. Yu. – Head of the Department of Legal Support of the Permanent Committee of the Union State, Denisienko V. I. – Head of the Department of Defense Industry and Military-Technical Cooperation, Petrashova O. V. – First Deputy of the Responsible Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly of Belarus and Russia, Markevich A. I. – Deputy Responsible Secretary – Head of the Apparatus of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union Representation in the Republic of Belarus, Stashkevich S. V. – Deputy Head of the Representation Apparatus, Zhviredovskaya S. L. – Deputy Head of the Main Legal Directorate of the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union.
The President signed mandatory appointments for leaders of central and republican bodies, including diplomatic missions and interstate organizations.
