President urges improving car quality

At the State Quality Mark award ceremony, President Alexander Lukashenko said: "There is nothing more valuable. This is the most important thing that could be for me. Quality is number one." He instructed the management of BELGEE to ensure that all vehicles carry the quality mark and to produce a 100% domestically-made car. The president added that the Minsk Motor Plant should supply a full range of engines for Belarusian machinery, and Gomselmash should continue its work on improving product quality, emphasizing that domestic combines already match foreign ones, proven by harvesters' records in the fields. "Belarusian quality is our brand," Lukashenko stressed.
