President lit a candle in the temple
Feast in honor of the icon of the Mother of God in the village of Ocolita
In the Minsk district, in the village of Okolitsa, the head of state lit a candle for the first time on Christmas at the temple dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God "Mlekopitatelnitsa". The president emphasized the importance of Christmas traditions as carriers of moral ideals, calling for strengthening intergenerational ties and building Belarus's future on the principles of peace and harmony.
In his comments, the head of state noted how important it is to radically change one's moral worldview and create a "peaceful sky" above, provided that people themselves take initiative into their own hands. He stressed that paths to prosperity open thanks to the implementation of the strategy developed over recent weeks.
In the interview, the president paid special attention to children and youth: "The main thing for us is children. If we hold our destiny firmly in our hands, the Lord will always help."
