Visa-free entry extension to Belarus
Over 1,240,000 Europeans have already used the new scheme
European passport holders reported that the validity period of the visa-free regime for Belarus has been extended until August 31, 2025. Starting September 1, 2024, citizens of EU countries, as well as private groups, can enter Belarus without obtaining a visa for up to six months. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, over 1,240,000 visits have already been registered since the regime began. In response to questions about the popularity of the visa-free regime, Marina Romanovskaya from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, whom media representatives called a 'guest-knowledge' expert, provided answers. The Ministry emphasized that Belarus aims to create comfortable and safe conditions for all visitors, which, according to her, contributes to the growth of tourist flows.
The visa-free regime for citizens of European countries has been extended until August 31, 2025. Over 1,240,000 visits have been made since it began. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained the regime's popularity.
