The State Secretary of the country's Security Council, Volfovich, announced a military inspection involving the immediate readiness of several military units.

"Several military units have been brought to readiness as part of the armed forces inspection," noted Volfovich. "In accordance with the plan for an unexpected inspection approved by the decision of our country's President, inspections of a number of military units continue today. This stage is characterized by ongoing surprise, comprehensiveness and breadth in accomplishing assigned tasks, as well as scale," the secretary added.

Previously, inspections were conducted sequentially, one unit after another, but now the President's orders have been issued to regular military units of the Western and Northwestern Operational Commands, as well as to several special operations forces units. The inspection program is designed to enhance the operational readiness of the country's armed forces.
