Military readiness check at stage 1

The Secretary of the Security Council told journalists about the initial results of a large-scale surprise inspection of the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. According to Alexander Volfovich, the inspection took place from September 7 to 9 and included an assessment of the organizational, combat, and morale-disciplinary readiness of the troops. An additional phase is expected at the beginning of the inspection, which will take into account training effectiveness and equipment compliance with requirements.

The main goal of the inspection is to identify weak points and quickly correct them in order to maintain a high level of combat readiness and operational efficiency of the troops. According to official data, the inspection was carried out in various military districts, including the Astrakhan, Vitebsk, and Minsk districts.

According to the statement, measures were taken into account, including accelerated re-indication, stricter weapons accounting procedures, and increased discipline among military personnel.
