School No. 64 won the drone racing
Drone League competitions held in Minsk
The futuristic project "Drone League" has already allowed school students in Minsk to demonstrate their skills in operating unmanned aerial vehicles. The first drone racing event among military-patriotic clubs ended with a victory for Minsk's School No. 64, which opened a class for drone piloting training a year ago.
The "Sirius" club started with 17 students, but their number grew thanks to regular training on simulator devices and practical drone flight exercises. Six teams representing all military-patriotic clubs of Minsk participated in the tournament. The students demonstrated the effectiveness of their year-long preparation, and School No. 64's victory became a symbol of increasing interest in technological disciplines across the region.
The "Drone League" festival was marked by the participation of schoolchildren, teachers, and parents, and organizers highlighted the high level of youth preparedness and the importance of developing STEM education in the country.
