Prosecutor General reports increase in number of children returning to parents

The Prosecutor General of Belarus reported that over the past 15 years, the number of orphanages and boarding schools has decreased nearly 11-fold, and more than 70% of children removed from families are returned to their parents. According to prosecutors, in 2024, the Correctional and Developmental Learning Center operates within the supervisory agency, where 72 children are being educated.
