The Council of the Republic condemned the AFU strike

The Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, in its statement, expressed condemnation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strike on the Kherson region, which resulted in civilian casualties. Council of the Republic Chairperson Natalya Kochanova stated, "We always perceive with deep sorrow the news of civilian deaths in armed conflict zones and consider such attacks on civilian facilities a gross violation of international humanitarian law." It was reported that during the discussion, condolences were expressed to the families of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery were extended to the injured.
