Tips for Belarusians abroad

The National Tourism Agency of Belarus has issued recommendations for citizens located in the Middle East. The agency advises: staying in safe places (hotels, shelters), not leaving premises without urgent necessity, strictly following the requirements of local authorities and hotel administration regarding personal safety, avoiding mass gatherings, areas of hostilities, military and strategic facilities, as well as refraining from filming strikes, explosions, and their aftermath, as this may pose a security threat. Citizens are strongly advised to maintain constant contact with relatives and loved ones in their home country, inform them about their location and condition, and monitor official announcements from local authorities while avoiding spreading unverified information.
