Three died in fire in Kozly village
In the village of Kozly, located in the Dokshitsy district, a fire broke out at night, resulting in the deaths of three people. Rescuers found the bodies of the homeowner and two of his fellow villagers—a man and a woman—who had been living together with him since January. The investigation revealed that the main cause of the fire was careless handling of fire while smoking. According to neighbors, the homeowner had taken in two people who had run out of firewood. Since January, they had been living together and drinking alcohol. Earlier, a fire in the house had also been documented due to an unextinguished cigarette. Currently, investigators continue their work at the scene.
