Payments for children under 3 to increase

Benefits will increase by nearly 7.5% starting February 1

Starting February 1, 2026, childcare payments in Belarus for children up to three years old will increase by nearly 7.5%. Benefit amounts calculated based on the average monthly salary will change as follows: for one child - 1,000.86 rubles; for the second and subsequent children - 1,143.84 rubles; for a disabled child under three years old - 1,286.12 rubles (or an equivalent increased rate). Benefit recalculations occur twice a year, in February and August, due to changes in the national average salary.
