Payments for children under 3 to increase
Benefits will increase by nearly 7.5% starting February 1
Starting February 1, 2026, childcare payments in Belarus for children up to three years old will increase by nearly 7.5%. Benefit amounts calculated based on the average monthly salary will change as follows: for one child - 1,000.86 rubles; for the second and subsequent children - 1,143.84 rubles; for a disabled child under three years old - 1,286.12 rubles (or an equivalent increased rate). Benefit recalculations occur twice a year, in February and August, due to changes in the national average salary.
Context
The country regularly reviews the amounts of social payments, taking into account inflation dynamics.
In Belarus, from February 1, 2026, childcare benefits for children up to 3 years old will increase by nearly 7.5% to 1,000.86 rubles for the first child, 1,143.84 rubles for subsequent children, and 1,286.12 rubles for a disabled child.
